Preparatory level

Reserved for students who have never learned Japanese. We invite you to learn the most important basics for the rest of your studies, including Japanese characters (Kanji, hiragana and katakana) as well as basic grammar and conversation.

Beginner level

The goal is to understand and conduct a conversation on simple, everyday topics. To be able to know how to read and write basic hiragana, katakana and kanji.

Elementary level

To be able to read and understand basic Japanese texts and be able to exchange opinions on familiar topics. To know how to read and write between 400 and 600 kanji.

Intermediate level

To be able to communicate without difficulty in daily and social situations, using Keigo, the honorary form. You could also read between 600 and 1000 kanji.

To be able to understand texts concerning politics, current events or Japanese literature and express opinions on these subjects, while understanding the context of Japanese society.
